Eid al-Fitr, also referred to as Eid ul-Adha or simply Eid is the most important of the two Muslim holidays celebrated annually. Eid commemorates the holiest day in the Islamic calendar and marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. Muslims all over the world celebrate Eid with prayer, family and friends gatherings, and a collective celebration of goodwill.
